Overview of role:
We’re seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst to join our Customer Insights and Experience team. Reporting to the Product Owner – Customer Insights and Experience, with a matrix reporting line to the Lead BA, this role plays a critical part in delivering Coliban Water’s transformation agenda.
You’ll work closely with business stakeholders, delivery teams and technology partners to define, analyse and deliver high-quality requirements that improve customer and agent experiences. A strong focus of the role is leveraging Salesforce and related CRM capabilities to drive process improvement, value realisation and customer outcomes.
This role sits primarily within Customer and Stakeholder Experience, while actively collaborating across the organisation as part of both transformation initiatives and BAU programs of work.
Key Responsibilities:
As our Senior Business Analyst , you’ll be accountable for:
- Apply Coliban Water’s business analysis framework to enable change and deliver value
- Lead requirements elicitation, analysis and documentation (features, epics and user stories)
- Facilitate workshops, interviews and focus groups with stakeholders
- Document current and future state processes to L3/L4 BPMN standards
- Identify opportunities for process improvement, efficiency and waste reduction
- Support Agile delivery through ceremonies, backlog refinement and collaboration with squads
- Contribute to UAT planning, scripting and execution
- Partner with Product Owners, SMEs and delivery teams to ensure outcomes align with future state strategy
- Actively contribute to the BA Community of Practice and uplift organisational capability
- Leverage Salesforce and CRM platforms to maximise customer and business benefit
About you:
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst in agile delivery environments
- Strong expertise in requirements management, process analysis and business process redesign
- Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM platforms, ideally in a service or contact centre environment
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving and documentation skills
- Strong stakeholder engagement, facilitation and communication capabilities
- Ability to work collaboratively in fast-paced environments with competing priorities

Salary:
The salary and conditions for this position will be as per the Coliban Water Enterprise Agreement 2021 Band 5 $115,162 - $139,851 plus superannuation salary range will be offered to the successful candidate commensurate with their skills and experience.
