The IT End User Support Specialist plays a critical role within the IT Service Team at Coliban Water, focusing on enhancing the end-user technology experience.

This position is responsible for resolving and escalating IT service requests, maintaining effective communication with users, supporting the deployment and management of devices and applications, and driving continuous improvement in service delivery.

Key Responsibilities:
As our IT End User Support Specialist, you’ll be accountable for:

  • Provide high-quality IT support by resolving service desk requests and incidents across remote and onsite users.
  • Deploy and support end-user devices including Windows 11 workstations, iOS and Android mobile devices, using tools like Intune and SCCM.
  • Manage user accounts and access, including Active Directory, MFA configurations, and Office 365 administration.
  • Document and maintain IT systems, knowledge base articles, asset records, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Assist with IT projects and automation, including system upgrades, hardware/software rollouts, and scripting for process efficiencies.

About you:

  • Demonstrated relevant experience in an IT Service Desk and/or Customer Service environment.
  • Highly developed skills in fault identification and rectification.
  • Ability to identify patterns in common issues and design solutions to remedy root cause.
  • Highly developed interpersonal communication skills with the ability to negotiate, persuade and resolve grievances, conflict and complaints and achieve desired outcomes. 
  • Tertiary qualification in information technology, computer science or similar (desired, not essential).

Salary:

The salary and conditions for this position will be as per the Coliban Water Enterprise Agreement 2021 Band 2 $62,475 – $72,897 + Superannuation salary range will be offered to the successful candidate commensurate with their skills and experience.
